Panel discussion: Protiviti hosts Forum on the Future of Money and Privacy
IN BRIEF
- “You really have to drive that value proposition with your boards and with your senior leadership teams to help them to understand how these strategic initiatives and how furthering the privacy posture of an organization can really make a differentiation when it comes to sales.”
- “Everything that we see in the news [with regard to AI] is doing one of two things; it’s either scaring people, so they're afraid to engage with the technology, or they're saying it's not a big deal, it’s just an incremental build, and I would say I'm more aligned to the ‘it’s an incremental increase in risk to all of the different control functions.’”
- “The EU is known to be very regulatory-heavy. You have GDPR, you have the AI Act, you have the Digital Services Act, the Digital Market Act. I honestly can't track. So, I'm waiting for the day when a major multinational company will just say, ‘We're over this and we're pulling out.’”
